Build payments with Knox.
Connect a Stripe SDK to Knox, explore payments in your dashboard, and see how Meta Knox routes each transaction.
API reference
Browse supported operations, request parameters, and response schemas.
Explore the reference →Your dashboard
View transactions, manage API keys, and configure routing in Meta Knox.
Open your workspace →Make your first request
- Sign in to your workspace and open API keys.
- Use your
sk_test_...secret key on your server. Keep it out of browser code. - Send requests to
https://api.knoxapi.com.
curl https://api.knoxapi.com/v1/payment_intents \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $KNOX_SECRET_KEY" \
-H "Idempotency-Key: your-unique-order-id" \
-d amount=1200 -d currency=usd \
-d payment_method=pm_card_visa -d confirm=true
Use sandbox payment methods such as pm_card_visa and pm_card_chargeDeclined. Live processing is currently disabled. Use test data only.
Use a Stripe SDK
Keep your existing request format and configure the API address.
# Python
client = stripe.StripeClient(key, base_addresses={"api": "https://api.knoxapi.com"})
// Node.js
const client = new Stripe(key, {host: "api.knoxapi.com"});
Knox supports a subset of Stripe's operations. The API reference lists the implemented routes.
Confirm results and explore routing
Use signed webhooks for fulfillment. Verify the Stripe-Signature header with the Stripe SDK and your endpoint secret.
Open Payments to review transactions. Open Meta Knox to inspect destinations, gateways, routing rules, and traffic.
